(PS5) Rematch Crashes when Starting a Game
DISCLAIMER: my friend has this bug, I don’t, but he doesn’t know english so I’m reporting it for him.
*BUG*
• Whenever my friend starts a match the game crashes.
- He can explore the shop, go on free play, customize character and everything that’s in the main menu.
- When he starts a match the game loads up until the walking intro and then it crashes, cancelling the match for everyone.
• Sometimes it even crashes while launching the game, without even going into the menu.
• The console gives the usual application crash error CE-108255-1
*OTHER NOTES*
He already tried reinstalling the game twice and even rebuilt the database of the console.
I play on PS5 as well but I don’t have this issue.

diafamcuz MergedSo when I load into match, and you have loading screen 10/10 players, it just crashes. This is on PlayStation, “something went wrong with this game or app”. Only started a day ago, tried deleting and redownloading nothing changed

arlin_ICEI have the same issue. I found out that if you delete your save data, after doing the tutorial you can load into a match normally and it works. However if you start a second one after, it crashes again. This issue is not on every PS5 as my brother and my friend don’t have it. I’m on PS5 Digital version.
Rebuilding database, clearing cache, or even reseting the console don’t work.
This bug showed up after the latest patch. -

This issue has been fixed in the latest update. Please make sure your game is updated, and let us know if the crash still happens when loading into a match on PS5.
