Invisible face jewel / LOD issue

Face jewel (specifically "Infinity 808" nose ring, I haven't tested with other cosmetics) appears fine in the customization menu but is invisible in-game and in the main menu background. Other face jewel items are visible but seem lower in quality as well.
I have tested with a variety of different graphics settings but the issue remains.

STR:
1. Go to the customization menu > select a preset > equipment > head jewel > nose, equip "Infinity 808"
2. Notice that it appears fine
3. Go back to the main menu and look at your character in the background
4. Notice that the nose cosmetic item is not visible

System specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070
RAM: 32GB
Game is installed on a NVMe SSD
Drivers are up to date
