Windows on ARM support: update the EOS/EAC SDK so the game can launch
REMATCH won't launch on Windows on ARM. The game itself isn't the problem — x64 titles run fine under Microsoft's Prism translation. The blocker is the Easy Anti-Cheat client: the old x86-64 build refuses to initialize under emulation and stops startup.
Epic already solved this. Since Aug 2025, the EOS SDK (1.17.1.3+) ships a native Windows-on-ARM EAC client and an ARM-aware bootstrapper. The game does NOT need a native ARM port — Fortnite still runs via Prism emulation while EAC runs natively on ARM, and it works. So the ask is basically an SDK version bump + repackaging the EAC bootstrapper, not a game port.
Why it's worth doing now:
Windows on ARM is no longer niche: Snapdragon X and the new Snapdragon X2 laptops, plus NVIDIA's ARM platform (RTX Spark, in the Surface Laptop Ultra and the upcoming Surface RTX Spark Dev Box).
The anti-cheat barrier is already gone platform-wide: EAC, BattlEye, Denuvo and Wellbia all support Windows on ARM, and Fortnite, VALORANT, League of Legends and PUBG already run on it.
Rivals being playable on these machines while REMATCH stays blocked is lost players for very little engineering cost.
Optional, longer-term: a fully native Windows ARM64 build would drop the Prism overhead entirely — better frame pacing and battery on thin ARM laptops with integrated GPUs. Much bigger lift, so just a roadmap idea. REMATCH is on UE5, which already has Windows ARM64 build paths.
Happy to test and report back on real hardware.

We're currently looking into updating EAC to allow the game to run on Windows ARM devices, however providing native support for the platform is unlikely as Rematch uses Unreal Engine 5.4, which does not support this target. -

l3ops AdminAs of hotfix 1.204.008 the anti-cheat has been updated to the latest version, and the game now runs on ARM devices. However there are known rendering issues on some GPUs that will be addressed in future updates of the game
