Getting autofilled as spectator leads to a leaver penalty

I tried to join a 3v3 match, but upon entering, I was automatically placed in spectator mode because there were already 6 players in the session. Despite being a spectator, I was kicked within 30 seconds for 'inactivity' and received a 3-minute temporary ban. This happened twice in a row. Could you please look into this bug?
