Didn’t regain goalie gloves after being the last man

In the last moments of the match i left the box as goalie and returned back, when every other player was outfield my character did not become the keeper again. The player that retained the goalie role was able to run over the halfway line without losing the goalie role. The player was already lagging and having connection issues beforehand which probably played a factor.
