Unabel to tackle opponents when running into them

You cannot tackle opponenets while your charackjter model is in the "running into them" animation which leads to situations where if an opoonent in control of the ball runs into you you're effectively locked out of options which is super frustrating while trying to defend.

Could you please provide a video or go more in depth as to how this issue occurs? I tried to test it myself but haven't been able to reproduce it.
