Backwards pushball directions become inconsistent after dribbling

So basically, there seems to be an issue with the "pushball" mechanic after performing a dribble.

Expected behavior:
After a dribble, using pushball should send both the player and the ball in the exact direction of the player's movement/input.

Current behavior:
Any backwards-related pushball direction becomes inconsistent after a dribble.

Directions that work normally:

Forward;
Forward-left diagonal;
Forward-right diagonal;
Left;
Right.

Bugged directions:

Backwards;
Backwards-left diagonal;
Backwards-right diagonal.

This is relative to the camera direction.

For example, if the camera is facing the opponent's goal, any pushball input directed towards your own goal (backwards directions) can produce inconsistent movement results.

Visually, it sometimes appears as if the ball itself is being sent diagonally or the player and the ball are being pushed into slightly different diagonal directions. Because of how fast the animation happens, it's difficult to tell exactly which part is causing the issue. However, the final result clearly does not match the original backwards input direction.

The issue only seems to affect backwards-direction pushball inputs after a dribble animation, since forward and side directions appear to function normally.

Additional info:

I play on PC;
Happens on both controller and keyboard (tested keyboard with controller disconnected);
Started happening after Patch 1.203.100 (Season 3.1);
Reproducibility is very high, around 50/50 when performing dribble + backwards pushball;
The resulting diagonal direction appears random (sometimes left, sometimes right).
